How to Get Free Baby Stuff in Canada

Whether you’re an expecting mother or already have a newborn, it can feel overwhelming to make sure you have all the baby necessities. Plus, you might have realized that babies require a lot of products, and those costs can add up quickly. Luckily, though, if you live in Canada, you can score tons of free baby stuff.

From diapers and wipes to formula and shampoo, these Canada freebies are the perfect chance for you to save a bit of money, plus try out new brands and products you might not have tried otherwise.

Here’s exactly where and how to snag these free baby supplies.

Huggies

When you register for the No Baby Unhugged program and upload a photo of your “hug”, Huggies will send you a free pack of newborn Huggies Diapers (32 diapers) and wipes. If your baby is older than 4 weeks, they’ll send you coupons instead of diapers.

Plus, by signing up, Huggies will donate $5 to participating Canadian hospitals as part of their No Baby Unhugged program, a program aimed to give babies the hugs they deserve. Talk about a win-win.

Babies ‘R Us

Babies ‘R Us offers a free swag bag complete with $80 of free products and over $500 in coupons. Each bag is different, but could include:

  • Nursing pads
  • Diapers and baby wipes
  • Pacifiers
  • Breastfeeding starter packs
  • Feeding bottles
  • Baby wash and wash cloth
  • Baby spoons

To receive your free bag, sign up and create a baby registry with Babies ‘R Us. Then, you’ll need to bring your ID number into your nearest local store to receive your swag bag.

To sign up, simply visit a Thrifty’s pharmacy and speak with a pharmacist about the Baby Be Health program.
