Owlet’s Dream Duo is an advanced baby monitor that uses the Dream Sock and Cam to detect sleep-quality indicators from your baby and their environment—like heart rate, oxygen*, wakings, real-time sleep status, humidity, room temp and room noise—to help you understand and manage your baby’s sleep.

The Duo learns about your baby, and identifies baselines and patterns in their sleep quality indicators. If your baby’s sleep quality changes significantly in a short period, you’ll receive a Sleep Assist prompt letting you know your baby is uncomfortable and needs sleep support.

Our Sleep Assist Prompts. If you receive a Sleep Assist prompt we should check on your baby and their sleep environment to determine if Baby’s room is too hot or too cold, Baby is restless, or if Baby is uncharacteristically irritable and needs a closer eye.

How is the Dream Duo different from the Monitor Duo?
The Dream Duo is designed to help parents ensure that Baby develops healthy sleep habits early on and gets a good night’s sleep. The Monitor Duo had features notifying users that Baby's heart rate and oxygen levels departed from preset values. The Dream Duo does not have those notification features. The Dream Duo's prompts are based on sleep quality indicators. The Dream Duo (Dream Sock plus Cam) is here to give parents the tools they need to get a better night's sleep for the entire family!
Is the Owlet Dream Duo safe?

What type of waves does the device emit, and will this energy harm my baby?
The Dream Sock uses WiFi 4.0 Low Energy (2.4 GHz) to communicate periodically to your phone. The radio waves generated from the Dream Sock are less than one-twentieth of those emitted by cellphones we carry in our pockets every day. These radio waves are not harmful to you or your baby. The Dream Sock and Owlet Cam will not receive interference from home alarms, cell phones or other electronics.

Can my spouse/partner and I both monitor our child via our smartphones?
Both parents may access their child's information and live readings of displayed sleep-related metrics in the Owlet Dream App over their respective smartphones allowing both to track their child.
Does the Owlet Dream Duo work with twins/multiples?
Yes! The Owlet Dream Duo is great for twins and multiples. Each baby will need his or her own Owlet Dream Sock and Base Station, though multiple babies can share a single Cam, depending on placement in the room. You can connect each device to your smartphone and view readings for all babies simultaneously in the Owlet Dream App and view the sleep status for each baby from the convenience of one screen.
Is WiFi required to use the Owlet Dream Duo? What happens if my WiFi goes out?
WiFi is required to view live readings and video from the Dream Duo in the Owlet Dream App. The Cam requires a WiFi connection to stream video and audio to your smartphone. The Dream Sock and Base Station connect via Bluetooth. The Base Station then connects to your phone via WiFi to give you live readings of displayed sleep-related metrics. WiFi is required if you would like to use the Owlet Dream App to view these live readings, or to access the sleep content and expert tips. In the case that WiFi is not working, the Base Station will still prompt with music and lights when your baby needs assistance in getting back to sleep.
What is the two-way talk feature of Owlet Dream Duo?
The two-way audio feature allows you to communicate with Baby through the Cam. Talk to and soothe your baby with two-way talk and stay connected from anywhere.
Will the Owlet Dream Sock work if my baby moves around?
The Dream Sock is designed to track your baby’s sleep quality metrics even through gentle movement.
How long do the batteries last?
The Owlet Dream Duo has wireless drop-and-go charging that allows you to get an 8-hour charge in under 20 minutes, and a full 16-hour charge in 90 minutes!
