  • How is the Dream Sock different from the Smart Sock?
  • The Dream Sock is designed to help parents ensure that Baby develops healthy sleep habits early on and gets a good night’s sleep. The Smart Sock had features notifying users based on changes to heart rate and oxygen levels outside of preset values. The Dream Sock does not have those notification features, and is not intended to advise users on any deviations from preset values in these measurements. The Dream Sock’s prompts are based on sleep quality indicators but it will not notify parents on the same criteria as the Smart Sock. Dream Sock and Duo are here to help give parents the tools they need to get a better night's sleep for the entire family!
  • How do the Dream Sock Plus and Dream Sock differ?
  • The Owlet Dream Sock Plus includes a pair of larger, toddler-sized fabric socks that allow you to track your child’s sleep patterns for up to 5 years old, or 55 lbs. The Dream Sock is another option for parents who only wish to track their child’s sleep patterns up to 18 months old, or 30 lbs.

    If you purchase the Owlet Dream Sock, and then later decide you want to monitor your child as they grow, you can purchase the Owlet Extension Pack to continue using the Dream Sock up to 5 years old, or 55 lbs.
  • Is the Owlet Dream Sock safe?
  • Yes, when used as instructed, the Dream Sock is safe for daily use with healthy babies. We have engaged in rigorous testing to ensure the Dream Sock is safe for all families.   • Can my baby wear footie pajamas, a swaddle or a sock with the Owlet Dream Sock?
  • Yes! The Owlet Dream Sock is low profile and fits under a regular sock, footie pajamas, or in a swaddle. Make sure the Dream Sock is in direct contact with your baby’s foot and properly placed.
  • What is your 30-Night Peace of Mind Guarantee?
  • The Dream Sock comes with a 30-Night Peace of Mind Guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your product, you may return the product for a full refund within 30 calendar days of setting up the product.
  • Can my spouse/partner and I both monitor our child via our smartphones?
  • Multiple caregivers can access Dream Sock readings via the Owlet App from their separate smartphones, but they will need to share access to the same account.
  • Does Owlet Dream Sock work with twins/multiples?
  • Yes! The Owlet Dream Sock is great for twins and higher-order multiples. Each baby will need his or her own Owlet Dream Sock and Base Station. You can connect each device to your smartphone and view readings for all babies simultaneously in the Owlet Dream App and view sleep status for all babies from the convenience of one screen.
  • Is Wifi required to use the Dream Sock? What happens if my Wifi goes out?
  • The Dream Sock is designed to be used with the Owlet Dream App, which requires WiFi in order to display your sleep quality indicators and trends. However, if you were to lose WiFi during the night or day, the Dream Sock and Base Station both continue to collect readings and communicate via Bluetooth. If the Dream Sock detects that your baby is uncomfortable and needs your help getting back to sleep, the Base Station will still prompt you with lights and music to go assist your child.
  • Will the Dream Sock part of the Dream Duo still work if my baby moves around?
  • The Dream Sock is designed to track your baby’s sleep quality metrics even through gentle movement.
